Essays can be complicated, but always give your best effort. Make sure you answer the question fully and always go back and reread your answer. Do not worry about the time you have, just take your time and answer the question. On essays that Mr. Brock gives, make sure you look for misspelled words, capitalization, and grammar mistakes. When you’ve think you have answered the question completely, go ahead and add a “spare tire”. This means add another answer to the question just in case one of your answers are wrong because the person grading your essay is instructed to look past the wrong answer and give you credit for the part you got right. Always have a spare tire. Also, always restate your question. You do not have to but it will help and make you essay more proper.
